[video:youtube:Kc5JED8TgwI]Currently my Lenovo T60 is reeeeaaaaly slow, my old Windows XP installation is slow due to way to many services running, a huge amount of software which I needed before, but no longer, installed and so on. To get the startup time down from about ten minutes to at least three I must do something drastically. And that includes running Linux and not XP anymore. But I have some challenges, I do have some software that I’m not sure how to run on Linux, this being:
All other software I’m using on Windows will have competitive Linux-software, so apart from the above mentioned challenges I’m better off with Linux.
But, there is always a but. Tried Ubuntu before, but got into trouble with the wireless card on my T60. Hopefully this is not a problem anymore thanks to the Intel Wireless Wifi Link-project. The driver is supported in mainline kernel so this should be no problem anymore.
If you have any input to me on my issues, plz contact me 🙂
WTF?
A Japanese hidden camera show called ‘Panic Face King’ goes extreme on this poor guy, luring him into a fake meeting in which everyone is killed by a sniper except for him. He is definitely the panic face king.

How cool is that? Jon and Tracy Morter made it this year, making the X-factor winner not being #1 on the UK charts this Christmas. And what a song they choosed: “Killing in the name” with Rage Against the Machine. The lyrics of each song from RATM is worth taking a closer look at, since they are very political influenced.
Written about revolution against corruption in society, “Killing in the Name” is widely recognised as the band’s signature song, and has been noted for its distinctive guitar riffs and heavy use of strong language.

I must admit that I was not aware of the fact that you can get weights specially designed for your mouse. It is supposed to make it possible to fine tune how you can handle the mouse. Was not aware of the fact that is was a specially designed gamer mouse I got at work, the Logitech G5, the best for the best 🙂
