They made it!!!
How cool is that? Jon and Tracy Morter made it this year, making the X-factor winner not being #1 on the UK charts this Christmas. And what a song they choosed: “Killing in the name” with Rage Against the Machine. The lyrics of each song from RATM is worth taking a closer look at, since they are very political influenced.
Written about revolution against corruption in society, “Killing in the Name” is widely recognised as the band’s signature song, and has been noted for its distinctive guitar riffs and heavy use of strong language.

Sissel Kyrkjebø and Odd Nordstoga in concert
I granted Elin two tickets to the Christmas concert with Sissel Kyrkjebø and Odd Nordstoga as the morning gift from me (together with a pair of earrings). She wanted me to join her, and today was the day for the concert. Both artists are very good, and together they are good as well. We had a really enjoyable one and a half hours.
But I must say that Oslo Spektrum sucks as a concert hall for such type of music. When Green Day and Metallica and such bands have a concert, the volume is so loud that you do not notice the echo, but when Sissel sings you cannot avoid hearing the fact that Oslo Spektrum provides a lot of echo. I would rather prefer Oslo Konserthu
