[video:youtube:3__plLgwegU]Georg Wadenius wikipedia/Georg_Wadenius – Reconnection. Mostly cover of other artists, with artists like Nina Persson and Frida from ABBA doing the vocals. I enjoy the songs he has done together with Anderas Kleerup, but also the Peter Garbriel cover “Don’t give up” (Spotify) where Silje Nergaard is doing vocals.
As I remember it, it was the Brothers in Arms cover with Nina Persson which draw my attention to this album.
Known as Hello Saferide abroad or Säkert! in her home country Sweden, this is the second cd by Annika Nordin.
Yesterday me, Espen and Sigurd went to see Imperial State Electric live in concert at John Dee with their lead singer Nicke Royale, formerly known from the great band Hellacopters. Really love the energy they created on stage, very limited small talk in between songs, play one then on to the next – just as it should be. Just like when Nicke performed together with Hellacopters at Hove some years ago, they played about five songs, then he said “Tjänare Norje”, and kept on playing!!! How cool is that??
Serena Ryder, bought by chance, mostly because she did a cover of Bruce Springsteen and his song Racing In the Street. A bit country I would describe it as, kinda like Melissa Etheridge maybe. Elin did really like the cover art on the inside of the cd cover
More than one year has passed since the last time I did update this category. Anyhow, now back on track again. First cd this year, a must have in my collection, Darkness On The Edge Of Town

In three days it is one year since we got married, what better occasion than our one year anniversary to upload the video of Elin singing to Youtube. Use the direct link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rK-57qDd2WE or watch the embedded clip below.
[video:youtube:rK-57qDd2WE]Johan Lundgren is playing the guitar and Lars Tormod Jenset is playing the bass. Roy Helmersen did his share of work behind the camera.

Right now, Gardenia by Kyuss – loving it!!
Yesterday I met my friend Marco, first we went out to eat and afterwards we went to see Orango in concert. Four years since the first time I saw them playing live. This time I found the concert much better, enjoyed the new songs and also the fact that they followed the principle which among others Nicke Andersson is a hardcore fan of “Don’t talk, just play the music” (Remembering the Hellacopters concert from Hove-festivalen two years ago when they played fours songs without saying anything, then Nicke said “Tjena Norje”, and played on…love it!!). First time I saw Orango they talked to much, but now they played with minimal pauses between the songs, love it! So thumbs up for Trond, showing his torso, and the rest of the band.
