Escape from boredom

Today we went to see Lars Tormod and his band Pillow playing at Den Gode Cafe. Even though I’ve quoted Anne Grethe Preus earlier, I must say that I enjoyed the concert.

This evening, Hellacopters live in concert yet again!!

But, it is in Stockholm, but I’m watching it live on MySpace…and it is coooooooool!!! I had to open a beer to fully enjoy the event…because it is rock’n roll!!!

Yesterday Anders, Espen, Loy, Bendik and I went to see the farewell concert to Hellacopters. Pure rock’n roll, very good concert I must say!! They got on stage, and immediately started playing. After four songs Nicke said “Tjena Norje!” (Hello Norway), then right on to the next song. How cool is that, no chitchat, just rock’n roll!!

…that I would be a fan of a band playing in the Junior Eurovision Contest, but The Blacksheeps is in fact cool, mostly due to the girl singing. Lydverket went to visit them, and recorded a video of them playing a cover version of Gold Lion by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. That, combined with a small amount of beer, and I expect that it will be one hell of a concert!! 🙂
