Hellacopters are currently touring Europe on their farewell-tour after 15 years of playing rock’n roll. I’m doing my homework and listening to their concert from Hove earlier this year http://nrkp3.no/konserter/?klipp=382861 to be as prepared as possible before the concert. That, combined with a small amount of beer, and I expect that it will be one hell of a concert!! 🙂

Bought two albums when first ordering…

Was first introduced to Band of Horses when watching Lydverket about the new musical scene in Seattle, breaking loose from grunge finally after many, many years.

Learned to know The National while listening to the concerts from Øya at http://www.nrk.no/p3tv.

I heard the live version of the song “Silver Equals Gold” on the radio and loved it at once. We soon got to realize thanks to P3Tv http://www.nrk.no/p3tv and the recordings from Øya this year that Howl is a Norwegian band. The released their first album last year and got very good reviews. Got the cd as a present from Anders (and Elin) today, I’m very happy!

Birthday present from Elin. The last album signed Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, with the exception that it is not the Bad Seeds, but Grinderman, a side project. Read more at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grinderman

Bought this one a while ago. Super Cd, looking forward to the release of the Nordic Tour dates for this fall.
