Escape from boredom

Learned to know The National while listening to the concerts from Øya at http://www.nrk.no/p3tv.

I heard the live version of the song “Silver Equals Gold” on the radio and loved it at once. We soon got to realize thanks to P3Tv http://www.nrk.no/p3tv and the recordings from Øya this year that Howl is a Norwegian band. The released their first album last year and got very good reviews. Got the cd as a present from Anders (and Elin) today, I’m very happy!

Birthday present from Elin. The last album signed Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, with the exception that it is not the Bad Seeds, but Grinderman, a side project. Read more at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grinderman

Bought this one a while ago. Super Cd, looking forward to the release of the Nordic Tour dates for this fall.

I especially like the comments between 0:55 and 1:10…”Damn, is that it??” … “How much is it? I take two…”

According to Aftenposten http://oslopuls.no/musikk/article2507723.ece Hellacopters kicked ass at Hove. I’m daily checking their website http://www.hellacopters.com hoping that they soon will release their tour dates in the Nordics for October…

Needed this one because of The Ship Song, and also to complete my collection even more

A double cd, even more of Cave in my collection.

Yet another cd by Cave in my collection

I must admit that I’m very in to Nick Cave for the time being. We have seven of his albums, that is still just half of all the studio albums he and The Bad Seeds have released, not counting Grinderman and such. The next album I need to buy is Murder Ballads. Currently listening to the Let Love In album.
